Raison D’Etre enthralls audience


Shemrock Smart School holds annual day celebrations
Gaiety marks annual day celebrations of Shemrock Smart School

Gaiety and jubilation marked Raison D’Etre annual day celebrations of Shemrock Smart School, Zirakpur at Randhawa Auditorium of Punjab Kala Bhawan Chandigarh.
Director Shemrock Group of Schools Air Comd. SK Sharma was the chief guest of occasion. Girl students of grade I welcomed audience with a melodious Vandana Song. Little kids enthralled the audience with their spectacular performances. Students of grades II and III presented take me to your heart.
Students of level-III presented an interesting play. Vibrant colors of rainbow came alive on stage step by step with well coordinated movements. Principal Chetan Bansal presented school’s performance report. She praised trained teachers of Shemrock Foundation School, Zirakpur in making this event a success.
The tiny tots of grades I, II and III presented a melodious shabad lending atmosphere a spiritual tone. Level I students gyrated to tunes of I’m a Barbie Girl as well as song sequence Kandhon Se.
Level I students presented song Holiday bringing the fun of holidaying on stage. Students of grade II and III presented Angel Eyes. The famous Lakdi Ki Kathi performance by students of level – II enthralled the spectators taking them back to their childhood days. Prem Se Humko performance by level – II students gave message of brotherhood and unity.
Little ones from level I and II presented rhymes as well as presented a colorful fashion show. Students of grades II and III too presented a play. Level III students presented Hum To Jhola and O’Carol. Senior students danced to an excellent fusion of western and folk songs.
Prize distribution function remained highlight of the occasion. From grade II and III first prize went to Aryan Sharma (GII), second to Harmandeep (G II) and third to 3rd Jasmeet (G II). Lakshita and Isha (G II) were awarded conduct prize. Progress prize went to Vikrant, Riya and Rajbeer (G II).
Active child of year title was given to Sarabjot (G II) and Kamalpreet (G III) and English prize went to Gursimran (G III).
From grade I first prize was given to Asmit, Dhruv and Anmol were bracketed second and Prabhjot was awarded third prize. Hindi prize went to Abhinav, while conduct prize was given to Nandini and Chetna. Sargam and Ayush were given progress prize. Shanpreet was adjudged best reader of the year. Active child award went to Khushleen, Parneet was adjudged best dancer Parneet and Gurpreet was awarded for his punctuality.
From level III Aryan was awarded for being most obedient boy, Ayush and Manjot for being most attentive, Avleen and Manandeep for their good conduct, Shagun, Deepak and Mandeep were awarded as most polite children, Drishti and Inderpreet were adjudged best readers, Devanshi as most obedient girl, Harmanpreet for best recitation, Harsh and Kamaksha for being most disciplined, Naina and Jashan as best performers, Khushi and Rajkeerat as best dancers, Khawahish as most helpful child and Ritika as most active child.
Also Rishita and Twinkle were awarded for being most punctual and regular, best handwriting award went to Sukhman and Sakshi, Tanav was adjudged best in co-curricular act and Yuvraj for having best overall development.
