Colorful activities and festivities marked the holi celebrations at Anees’ School. School campus broke into a riot of colors with students and teachers playing with gulal and dry skin-friendly colors.

The students have brought colors and the same were provided at school as well. The entire school premises reverberated with smiles and chuckles of children busy coloring each other.

Talking to the students, Director Aneet Goel said that the festival of colors should be celebrated with a somber mood. “Instead of using permanent colors or paints, we should play holi with dry and chemical-free colors. The festival is not meant to force upon each other but to welcome the spring that is round the corner. Holi not only marks change of season, but also serves as a reminder as to how colorful our lives are,” he said.

Students enjoyed the festival with holi special cuisines. Principal told the children about the significance of festival. She encouraged students to ask their parents to play safe holi. “In case, accidentally colors enter into eyes, one should immediately wash it with cold water and rush to a doctor nearby,” she said. She also asked students to discourage hooliganism on the festival.
