Students of kindergarten section walked down the ramp confidently during annual day celebrations of Ashmah International School held today.

Scintillating performances and foot tapping music marked the annual and prize distribution function. School director Jagbir Singh Kesar welcomed the guests, parents, staff members and students. He stressed upon need of frequent interaction between teachers and parents to sort out any problem that some children face initially. He explained about steps being taken by the management to update technology, teaching methodology and curriculum keep in view needs of fast changing time.


Girl students of classes I and II prayed Goddess Saraswati to make them continue quest for knowledge. The younger generation was taught of value of each vegetable through an excellent item that dwells on importance of eating vegetables. Then followed the much awaited fashion show by LKG students saw the kids sashaying down the ramp in latest wears.

The dance number You Can Win showed determination of Ashmians In achieving the goals. Dharti ke sitare event converted stage into heaven with little angels dancing and imagined chocolates on trees and wafers in potato fields. Students of classes I, II and III danced on the number twist, while audience echoed their enthusiasm with claps.

Chief Guest IAS Anjali Bhawra, Secretary Health education & research distributed medals and mementoes to students who excelled in academics, sports and curricular activities. Speaking at the occasion, she appreciated the wonderful performances and was impressed by thoughtful and considerate attitude of young Ashmians towards their surroundings. “If we take proper care of formative years of the child, he will grow into a positively contributing citizen in the process of strong nation building,” she remarked.

Meanwhile, school principal Roopinder Ghuman congratulated students for displaying remarkable talent in every field. She impressed upon parents to spare sufficient time to frequently interact with school faculty, which will be in overall interest of their children.
