Chandigarh Taekwondo Association holds championship at The Millennium School


The Millennium School lifts Taekwondo championship trophy

The Millennium School (TMS) Mohali lifted championship trophy at 7th Inter School Martial Arts championship held by Chandigarh Taekwondo Association in collaboration with Extreme Martial Arts.

Stretch over two days, the championship saw players from TMS bagging ten gold, six silver and 16 bronze medals in the 7th Inter School Martial Arts Actions, Kicks, Forms, Stretching and Demo Competition held at the school. Second position went to St. Anne’s Convent School that secured nine gold, ten silver and eleven bronze medals.

The preliminary rounds were held with more than 200 students from St. Anne's Convent School, Chandigarh Baptist School, St Peter's Secondary School, The Millennium School, Shemrock Sr. Sc. School, British School, Doon School and many other schools of Chandigarh and Mohali participating in this event.

All gold medalists presented their self-defence techniques, dynamic stretching by Prerna. On the occasion a skit was also presented conveying message of change martial arts brings in one person’s life.

The senior team presented musical demo. Harjot Singh exhibited self-defence techniques and broke cemented tiles on stomach.

Director of The Millennium School Robin Aggarwal presented awards to the winners. While interacting with the school authorities, parents appreciated efforts of instructors from Extreme Martial Arts in enhancing capabilities and stamina of children.
