Immigration to Canada: Maple Leaf country accepting highest ever immigrants in last 15 years

Ludhiana, November 20:
With aging population and impending labor problem, this year Canada is accepting highest ever number of immigrants from across the globe in last 15 years.

He added that in last just couple of months as many as 74 immigrants, through WWICS, have received their immigration papers. “Realizing its need to have young and talented people, the Canadian government has implemented major changes to ease the influx of talented and hard working immigrants,” he said.
The Canadian and Australian economy depends heavily on immigrants to fill shortages in its labor market, therefore, applicants falling under Canada’s 38 priority occupation list (POL) and Australia’s critical skill list (CSL) are processed on fast-track system and aspiring candidates gets decision within a short span of 6 -12 months.
Businessmen can easily make it to their dream destination as permanent residents under Canadian Federal Investor Program and Quebec Investor Program, without having to worry about clearing IELTS.
With an investment of just Rs. 50 lakhs the wannabe immigrants can immigrate on fast track system within 6-12 months. Banks can readily finance the balance money. With just two years business experience and having net worth equivalent to CDN 800,000, businessmen qualify for this opportunity enabling their entire family to immigrate.
Col Sandhu added that besides providing opportunity to the business class, Canada is an attractive destination for students pursuing quality education. WWICS has been helping students study at the world renowned colleges and universities of not only Canada but that of Australia and New Zealand as well.
WWICS with Global Placement Services (GPS) and its post-landing services has provided placement and settlement to thousands of aspirants from across world. WWICS has more than 70, 000 immigrants to its credit. WWICS and GPS interact with more than 5000 North American companies to meet their human resource needs.
“Many employers and corporate houses have projected their demand for employees. Also many WWICS clients get confirmed job offer prior to getting visa”, says Curtis Panke, Director, Global Placement Services (GPS).
Under the UK Tier -1 general skilled migration program, WWICS has been helping aspirants to settle in United Kingdom. Under this new point based system applicants qualify to reach their dream destination in just about 30 days after complete submission of documents.
Even Czech Republic with liberalized business immigration policies is attracting Indian capital investors who can explore business, investment and farming opportunities and can reap rich dividends in a short span. Beside Canada & Europe, WWICS has forayed in US immigration by providing US Green Card for Indian professionals, business persons and farmers who could become a dominant force in North America. To help Indian Investors to take first step in becoming a dominant force in the U.S. economy, WWICS has taken initiative to popularize US EB-5 Investor Category Visa, under which the Investors become eligible not only to the return on their investment but also get Green Card and later on become U.S. Citizens.

Col. Sandhu says that during recent seminar series in India and overseas, WWICS has witnessed an overwhelming response that proves point against all odds including the present economic slowdown. There’s always an opportunity for people with special skills to demonstrate their abilities in the countries that seek such immigrants.

  1. The US has something called the eb5 green card. This is a green card given to foreign investors who satisfy certain investment conditions. I believe that there is an equivalent in Canada and that many immigrants seeking citizenship are taking advantage of it, for the betterment of all involved.

  4. Mike is absolutely correct about the eb5 green card, also known as the immigrant investor visa. This program allows an immigrant to gain residency in exchange for an investment that creates and sustains at least ten new full time jobs for American workers.
