Week of festivity and fun observed at Small Wonders School
Small Wonders kids say no to crackers on Diwali

Mohali, October 15

Diwali celebrations were held at Small Wonders School, Mohali marking a week of festivity and fun. The students said no to crackers to mark a pollution free festival.

They were told about importance of festivals in India and about the unity in diversity that our country exhibits through these festivals.

Senior students learnt the art of decorating lamps, flower
arrangement, gift wrapping, mask making etc. during the week. The celebrations culminated with a Diwali mela in the school premises itself.

The games of tambola, tail the cat and treasure hunt remained all time favorite of the people in fair. Lucky draw remained hugely popular event with everybody vying for bicycles that were up for grabs.

Stalls of consumer goods and eatables remained the most crowded ones. The fair offered wide range of handbags, jewellery, clothing and items for diwali decoration.
