52 CIIS students ready to sail abroad
52 CIIS students join parent extension campuses
52 CIIS students join parent campuses abroad

Jalvehra (Fatehgarh Sahib), December 11
Fifty-two students of CIIS are ready to join their parent universities’ and colleges’ campuses abroad after completing their first year course at CIIS.
These students were awarded certificates at a specially convened ceremony at CIIS’s main campus in Jalvehra here today.

Bhagat Taggar, President-CIMT-Canada, Chief Commissioner Office - Ontario Human Rights Commission, Canada and senior director, Devinder Sandhu, CIIS educational services and society presided over the function.

While addressing the occasion, Devinder Sandhu, said that CIIS has an extensive collaborative framework with renowned institutes abroad. “This framework provides students with flexible option of taking transfer to parent campuses after the mandatory first year in CIIS. About 550 students have already taken transfer to their overseas parent campuses till now and these 52 are ready to join,” he said.
The outgoing 52 students were awarded certificates in streams of creative design, aeronautical, automotive engineering et al.

During their course of learning the students have had the exposure to be taught by foreign faculty from Canada and New Zealand.

CIIS (part of Continental Group of Institutes) in India, is an extension campus of the reputed Georgian College Ontario, Canada & Thompson Rivers University, Canada.
CIIS has also established tie-up with Universal College of Learning (UCOL), New Zealand, Ayr College, Scotland, Red rivers College, Manitoba, Canada, Natcoll-New Zealand, University of Brighton- UK, Sheridan College, Canada.
