Infosys to hold placement drive at Rayat-Bahra

Kharar, January 11
The global IT giant, Infosys Technologies Limited would be holding a placement drive at Ryat-Bahra Center of Bio-Excellence, Kharar on January 15.
Infosys is holding this placement drive for students of Rayat-Bahra group under its campus recruitment programme 2009- 2010. The company would be recruiting systems engineer with a gross pay package of Rs 3.25 lacs per annum.
S Gurvinder Singh Bahra, the vice-chairman Rayat-Bahra group said that it was a matter of pride for the group that IT giant like Infosys was recruiting students from its campus. He said that during the training period, the selected students would be offered Rs 2.7 lac per annum.
After allocation of business units the students of BE/ B Tech/ MCA/ MSc selected would be offered Rs Rs. 3.25 lacs per annum, while those from ME/ MTech would be offered Rs. 3.50 lacs per annum.
The company would also be offering 15 percent training performance incentive to the selected candidates undergoing training with it. MCA / MSc / ME/ M Tech students minimum 60 percent marks in X and XII and 65 percent in post graduation are allowed to appear. Engineers BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech as well as MCA and M Sc from twenty- one enlisted disciplines are also eligible to appear for the placement drive.

It is pertinent to mention here that recently Rayat-Bahra Group has held campus placement fortnight for the students of B Tech 2010 of its Ropar and Mohali campus.
Companies offering a wide range of job profiles like software engineers, database developers, mechanical engineers, electronic engineers, program engineers etc participated in this drive offering package bracket of Rs. 2 lacs to Rs. 4.0 lacs. Around 300 students of Rayat-Bahra engineering colleges participated in this drive.
Dr. Sandeep Kaura, Assistant Managing Director, Rayat-Bahra said that in first phase of placements for B.Tech 2010 held in September and October 2009, as many as 267 students wree selected in companies like Panasonic Corporation, IBM India, J.K. Technosoft Ltd, Open Access Technology India, Hastie Engineers, Stanley Works and others.
