New age Schooling comes to Jalandhar

The Millennium School will offer world class education to city students.

Jalandhar, January 15: Jalandhar will now be home to The Millennium School, part of a countrywide chain of Schools which are establishing a new benchmark in school education sector.
Announcing this initiative here today, Mr M.K. Bhandari, Chief Trustee and Chairman of the erstwhile VM Educational Trust and Aslesha Thakur, Director, The Millennium Schools told media that The Millennium School (TMS), Jalandhar will incorporate the existing campus of Ambika Modern School.
Mr. Bhandari said that this initiative had opened world class education opportunity for students at Jalandhar. TMS Jalandhar is a part of countrywide chain of schools leveraging Millennium Learning System (MLS), India’s first fully integrated learning delivery system for schools.
“The school will incorporate a unique blend of global best practices in education and inherent strengths of Indian education system with added advantage of this learning system,” he revealed.
He added that Jalandhar would now be witness to rare combination of academic excellence, exceptional teachers trained on MLS, unique talent development program and technology in every classroom.
“Our each classroom will be equipped with large digital interactive boards and high quality media content, using Smart_Class system for learning and governance through technology,” he added.
Mrs. Aslesha Thakur, Director, The Millennium Schools said that focus of TMS is to help students to become self-directed, tech-smart and lifelong learners in this age of rapid globalization. “Our vision is to unleash inherent potential and talent of each child, create future citizens who are confident, optimistic with a commitment to personal excellence and nurture lifelong learners who will be leaders of tomorrow,” she said.
The school will have all modern sports facilities and well-equipped studios for dance, drama, music, art and craft. The state-of the-art labs would be other unique highlights of the school. Apart from this, it will have well equipped library and laboratories and an infirmary with as well.
