Ashmah students pay homage to great leaders
Rich tributes paid to freedom fighters
Chandigarh, January 25
Students of Ashmah International School celebrated Republic Day at school campus.
Many students dressed up as Jawaharlal Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Indira Gandhi, and Mahatma Gandhi etc. the young minds spoke about great leaders, who worked selflessly and took India on the path of progress.
The celebrations took color with students dancing to tunes of Jai Ho and sabse aage honge Hindustani depicting the gusto of Indians. Little ones from playway and nursery classes recited patriotic rhymes. A quiz competition was held and the topic was our freedom fighters wherein students participated with an enthusiasm.
Principal, Mrs. Roopinder Ghuman, while addressing the students, told them about importance of this golden day. She urged them to watch the Republic Day parade on television and be a part of the national celebrations.
