Fancy dress competition held at Ashmah School



Mohali, 18 May: A unique fancy dress competition organized at The Ashmah
International School, Mohali, saw the superbly decked up students in their favourite fancy dresses. The tiny tots were seen portraying the character of doctors, engineers, Nurses, Indian leaders, different animals and characters of Ramayana. The colourful competition noticed vivacious and excited kids of nursery and KG classes eagerly participating in the competition. Student’s left audience spell bound with their superb performance and attire.
While speaking on this occasion the principal of the school Ms. Roopinder Ghooman said that the fancy dress competition which is the integral part of school curriculum provides the kids an opportunity to exhibit and explore their hidden talents. She said kids easily connect to such practical enactments and understand the concepts more effectively. She said that other than studies our focus is on overall grooming of the kids and help them in to face the future challenges of the life in a better way.
In the end the winning students were appreciated for their effort and the Principal gave away the prizes to the winning students. Saumya, Agamjot and Pranit won first prize under the Playway, Nursery and UKG category and Manav, Vidhi and Shubham won first prize under the Class I, II & III category.
