Cheema Medical Complex doctors come to rescue of NRI in pain

Cheema doctors succeed where Canadian counterparts failed

I am thankful to Indian doctors, says NRI

Mohali, May 22

Rahat Verma, a resident of Abbotsford in BC Canada, landed in India with a terrible pain and bleeding nose. After two months of unsuccessful medication by Canadian doctors, Rahat finally got respite in Mohali.

All thanks to the expert team of Cheema Medical Complex, Mohali, who not only zeroed in on Rahat’s ailment, but also provided him immediate relief.

For last two months, Rahat, who originally hails from Kharar, had been complaining of bleeding in nose. Also a foul smell discharged from his nostrils interfering with his daily working.

He went to the Canadian doctors, who failed to locate a simple foreign body that had intruded into his nose. Doctors abroad could not diagnose the real cause and opined to go in for super specialty treatment.

In the meantime, Rahat was put on medication, which failed to yield any result and the bleeding from nose continued. But before, Rahat could meet the super specialists, he came back to India on his family’s advice.

“When the patient came to us he was in terrible pain. We performed a simple endoscopy procedure and found a foreign particle embedded in his nose. It was removed with simple surgical procedure known as nasal endoscopy. The patient is hail and hearty now,” said Dr Sartaj Singh Buttar, ENT specialist at Cheema Medical Complex.
