Poetical recitation contest held at Ashmah International


Poetic minds at work at Ashmah International

Mohali, July 22
A poetry recitation competition was organized at Ashmah International School Sector 70, Mohali. Students from play way classes to class III participated in the contest with great enthusiasm.

Poems reflected concerns for environment, water, trees and electricity. The poetic performers highlighting these causes were specially awarded.

The core context of poems comprised from conventional nursery rhymes to the latest ones with a tinge of idea of healthy living and staying away from junk foods. Judges had a tough time finding out the best amongst lot of little master performers. Principal Roopinder Ghuman appreciated the little ones’ efforts.

Amongst the winners from play way section are Saumya, Jastaran and Amitoj. Those from nursery include Gurnoor, Sahil, Tanmaya and Bhavya. The L.K.G tiny tots awarded at the contest were Shefali, Jaskirat, Kanak, Yash and Kritnaaz. The U.K.G kids included Sudhiti, Tanya, Vani and Ankit.

From class I Harnoor, Manav and Kajal were declared winners. From class II Kanika, Vidhi and Kunwarpreet were declared winners, while from class III Gurmehar, Pakhi and Shubham were awarded.
