Grandparents’ day celebrated at The Millennium School
Oldies away with their grandkids at grandparents’ day celebrations
Mohali, September 1
Tiny tots of the pre-nursery section of The Millennium School, Mohali celebrated grandparents’ at school with an agility of emotions and expressions.
Children and their grandparents celebrated the strong bond of love and genes that bind them together as one happy family. Principal Komal Singh said, “School values grandparents as the true mentors of kids. Joint families are unfortunately breaking into smaller units, while these were supposed to provide much-needed emotional shelter to insecurities and complexities within nuclear units.”
Little ones of Pre-nursery A & B invited their grandparents to school and participated in number of events entertaining them. Rhyme singing, one-minute games, the famous antakshri and dances spellbound the grandparents.
“Four Corners” had all the grandparents on the dance floor. Senior students presented two dances items and two songs expressing patriotic feelings for ones country.
