Clay moulding contest held
Kids mould clay, the playful way
Mohali, September 2
The students of Ashmah International School enthusiastically participated in the clay moulding competition organized to explore the hidden talent in youngsters.
Kids moulded clay, creating figures of flowers, animals, faces, daily commodities like car, bangles etc. They even tried their hands on moulding out their favorite cartoon characters and bringing them to life in a way. Tiny hands kneaded magic with clay into different artistic shapes. The competition proved saying creation is the best motivation.
Principal of the school Mrs Roopinder Ghuman said that motive of competition was to develop students’ ideas, imagination and motor skills in innovative ways.
From Playway section Amitoj, Harsehaj, Abhijot and Saumya were declared winners. From nursery lily section Gurnoor, Sahil and Yash secured first, second and third places respectively. From nursery sunflower section Bhumi, Sarayu and Pahul bagged first, second and third position.
Similarly, from L.K.G. rose section Kanak, Hardik, Bhumi and Gursimrat were declared winners. From L.K.G. tulip section Varun, Yash, Gaurav, Kritnaaz and Mehar were declared the proud winners.
