Youth fest weaves tradition with modernity, Bahra
Youth fest concludes on a high note

The inter zonal youth festival of Association of Self Financed Colleges of Education, Punjab affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala concluded here at Rayat and Bahra College of Education amidst vibrant bhangra and giddha performances.

A blend of literary, modern and traditional events, the fest saw participation from forty eight colleges that competed for 32 different categories.

Chairman, Rayat-Bahra Group of Institutes Nirmal Singh Rayat and vice chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra distributed prizes to the winners.

Speaking at the occasion, Nirmal Singh Rayat said that students of education colleges are future teachers and such fests integrate the spirit of healthy competition in them. “Massive participation at the fest indicates we are going to have great teachers in future,” he said.

Earlier, Prof and head SGTB National Integration Chair Punjabi University Patiala Dr. B. S. Maan had inaugurated the fest.
